And I don't claim to have a clue on shorts, and I've only seen the live action & animated ones, but:

ANIMATED SHORT:  Bao (alllllmost went with the far more interesting & enjoyable - if you ask me - One Small Step, as I thought Bao was dumb & sub-Pixar-par; but it's far more *known*, and directed by a woman, so that would be cool!)

LIVE ACTION SHORT:  Skin (I saw them, and this seemed the most fleshed out to me, with the most full arc)

DOCUMENTARY SHORT:  Period. End of Sentence.  (I hear it's excellent and clearly the best of the crop - and it's on Netflix, so I hope to check it out before Sunday!)
