And the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay goes to...

Oddball Taika Waititi is a national treasure.  He's so offbeat & quirky that I never imagined he'd win an Oscar, at least not so soon.  But man did he hit the ball out of the park with this one, and I was DELIGHTED to watch him win here!!!

MUCH deserved, as this is one of the most inventive adapted screenplays of all time.  I'm eager to see what Taika does next!!
